Member Terms of Service
Effective 25 June 2026 ยท Version 2026-06-25
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of KidCircle. By creating an account, you agree to them and acknowledge our Privacy Notice. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Member accounts are for adults, including parents, carers and guardians. You must provide accurate information, keep your login secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
3. Community conduct
Be respectful and keep KidCircle suitable for families. Do not post unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, fraudulent or deliberately misleading material; reveal another person's private information; impersonate others; scrape the service; or use KidCircle to spam, harass or exploit anyone.
4. Posts, images and other content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give KidCircle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, resize, display and distribute that content only as needed to operate, promote and improve the service. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload it, especially where a child or another person is identifiable.
5. Location and family safety
Location features are for local discovery and may be approximate. Consider carefully before sharing a child's routine, precise location, school or other identifying information. KidCircle does not verify every member, organiser, venue, activity or claim. Adults remain responsible for checking suitability, safeguarding, qualifications, insurance and accessibility before attending or booking.
6. Reports and moderation
You can report posts, events and Pro content. We may investigate, restrict visibility, remove content, suspend features or disable accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or enforcement of these terms. We may preserve relevant records when handling a report or legal request.
7. Third-party services
Pro organisations, advertisers and external websites are independent third parties unless clearly stated otherwise. Their services, bookings, payments and events are governed by their own terms. KidCircle is not a party to those transactions.
8. Availability and liability
We aim to keep KidCircle useful and available, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you accepted these terms.
9. Closing an account and changes
You may ask us to close your account. We may retain or anonymise information where needed for reports, legal obligations, security and legitimate record keeping. We may update these terms and will give reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you retain the benefit of mandatory local consumer protections and may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law permits. Questions can be sent through our contact form, which creates a ticket for KidCircle Admin.
